The Peers App helps you connect and collaborate with members (referred to as: peers) of your professional, social and academic networks. By featuring a tried and tested user interface, The Peers App ensures meaningful connections, meanwhile also encouraging peers to create an atmosphere of shared learning.

Why Peers?
Professional, social and academic groups that have a large and geographically dispersed member-base continue to face networking challenges as their groups are often too large for everyone to know each other and the community sections of the websites are not engaging enough to encourage connections. Current platforms continue to face issues of spam and clutter reducing their value for members to engage more actively. Additionally, networking opportunities through events and meet-ups are generally time, space and location sensitive. They often do not succeed in connecting like-minded people, and further fail in sustaining the connections made.
At Peers, we innovate the means through which individuals belonging to professional, social and academic groups connect with each other. Peers provides professional networks and associations with a platform to improve engagement within their networks.
How does Peers work?
Users within The Peers App start by adding their specialties and sending a request to join a peer group. The peer group is managed and moderated by the relevant personnel from that organization or association.
After a request is accepted:
Users swipe right on profiles they want to connect with.
After connecting they can chat, collaborate and seek help from fellow peers based on what they specialize in.
Users will also be able to create specific help requests, making it easier to connect with relevant people in different contexts.
The group feed not only displays help requests from your peers but also has an additional feature of creating announcements so peers can be up to speed with all the current happenings within the peer group.
